GAS:

    Class 1 -- Street Legal Pure Stock, 6,800 lbs.
    Class 2 -- Street Legal Enhanced, 6,800 lbs.
    Class 3 -- Street Modified 6,200lbs.
    

DIESEL:

    Class 4 -- Stock 8,500 lbs.

    Class 5 -- 2.5 8,500 lbs.

    Class 6 -- 2.6 8,000 lbs.

Altered Work Stock Class 4x4:

    Class 7 -- Stock 7,200 lbs.

ALL CLASSES MUST APPLY WITH GENERAL RULES AND REGISTRATION

GENERAL RULES 

  1. ALL DRIVERS MUST BE 18 YRS OF AGE BY DATE OF PULL AND HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LISCENSE.

  2. ALL DRIVERS MUST WEAR A HELMET AND SEAT BELT, NO PASSENGERS ALLOWED.

  3. ALL TRUCKS MUST HAVE APPROVED FIRE EXTINGUISHERS WITHIN REACH OF DRIVER IN CAB.

  4. NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED IN PIT OR SHOW RING AREA.

  5. TRUCKS MAY BE ENTERED ONLY ONCE IN EACH CLASS

  6. TIRES SHALL NOT BE EQUIPPED WITH STUDS or CHAINS, NO ALTERED TIRES. MUST BE DOT APPROVED

  7. ALL HITCHES WILL BE INSPECTED AT WEIGH-IN.  HITCH MUST NOT BE OVER 26 INCHES,  3 - 3.5" HOLE HOOK DROP. HOOK DROP MUST BE STRAIGHT DOWN.

  8. ALL WEIGHTS MUST BE SECURED INSIDE TRUCK BODY ONLY.  NO WEIGHTS OUT FRONT, NO HIDDEN WEIGHTS. NO EXCEPTIONS.

  9. ANY LOOSE WEIGHTS ON TRUCKS ARE AN IMMEDIADTE DISQUALIFICATION. NO EXCEPTIONS.  DECISION OF JUDGES IS FINAL.

  10. NO WEIGHTS OR AIR PRESSURE WILL BE CHANGED AFTER CROSSING THE SCALES.

  11. TRUCK AND SLED MUST STAY WITHIN BOUNDERY LINES

  12. ALL DRIVERS MUST OBEY FLAGMAN'S SIGNALS.

  13. PULL IS OVER WHEN FORWARD MOTIONS STOPS. IF BEAKAGE OF OCCURS, PULL WILL BE OVER AT THAT POINT.

  14. DRIVERS WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FOR RECKLESS OPERATIONS BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER THE PULL. THIS INCLUDES PIT AREA.

  15. ALL MOTORS MUST BE EQUIPPED WITH AN AIR BREATHER.

  16. ANY ODD OR QUESTIONABLE MODIFICATIONS MUST BE APPROVED BY SUPERINTENDENT. SUPERINTENDENT DECISIONS ARE FINAL.

  17. NO ATV'S, GOLF CARTS OR OTHER MOTORIZED VEHICLES ARE TO BE USED BY ANYONE OTHER THAN FAIR OFFICIALS.

Superintendent decisions are final.

 

GENERAL REGISTRATIONS

  1. ALL DRIVERS MUST COMPLETE AN ENTRY FORM AND SIGN A RELEASE WAIVER.

  2. A NON-REFUNDABLE ENTRY FEE OF $40 PER CLASS IS REQUIRED AND THIS FEE COVERS THE DRIVER'S PIT PASS AND ONE HELPER PIT PASS.

  3. ORDER OF PULL WILL BE DETERMINED AFTER REGISTRATION IS COMPLETE.

  4. NO ONE ALLOWED IN SHOW RING DURING PULL EXCEPT PULL OFFICIALS AND TRUCK'S DRIVER. 

  5. ADDITIONAL $5.00 WILL BE ADDED TO ENTRY FEE AFTER 6pm.

 

SPECIAL RULES


GAS:
STREET LEGAL PURE STOCK 6,800 LBS:

  1. Trucks must be street legal. Current registration, inspection and insurance card required.

  2. This is a stock class. Trucks should be factory appearing. Stock trucks and stock trucks only. Motors must be correct in chassis (Ford to Ford). Model year and motor must comply.

  3. Floor bed must be solid wheel base and may not be changed from original manufacture.

  4. Flatbed or homemade bed allowed, and must cover tires and stock length. Wooden flatbeds are permitted.

  5. Must be stock appearing with all windows, hood fenders, doors, full bed with floor, tailgate or net required. Engine, related equipment and drive train must be factory stocked equipment for the vehicle in the year it was built.

  6. Stock trucks run on stock fuel. If judges smell racing fuel, the truck in question will be disqualified; entry fee and prize money will be forfeited.

  7. Must be stock manifolds, mufflers may be unhooked. Stock trucks will not be allowed to have any carburetor or intake modifications. No headers allowed.

  8. No outrageous spring stacks.

  9. Snowplow frames and brush guards are allowed. Must have 3-3 ½ inch opening. No vertical hitch or opening.

  10. No open exhaust permitted.

  11. Trucks must be driven to the fairgrounds and cannot be trailered into the fairgrounds.

 

GAS:
STREET LEGAL ENHANCED 6,800 lbs:

  1. No aluminum headers. 

  2. No Dominated carburetor, only 4150 or smaller

  3. Exhaust systems will be closed. Must have muffler and no homemade mufflers.

  4. No solid suspension. Trucks must have a leaf string suspension with a minimum of 2 inches of movement at all times. Lift kits and snow plow frames are acceptable.

  5. Hitch point may not be more than 26 inches from the ground. No angled, lever, pivot, or axis hitches are allowed and the hitch must be satisfactory in all directions. The hook point must be past the bed of the truck. The hole for hitching must accommodate a minimum of 3.5” across. No draw bars allowed.

  6. All weights must be secured, no loose weights, and cannot pass front bumper.  No exceptions.

  7. Carbureted trucks with 4 barrel carburetors with no more than 1” spacers.

  8. Need to have OEM bo - No cut out floor.

 

GAS: 
STREET MODIFIED 6,200 LBS:

  1. Aluminum intake and headers are allowed and may use a maximum 2” carburetor space with no visible modifications.

  2. Trucks may use anything for carburetors. Can only use one.

  3. Motor must be naturally aspirated.

  4. Trucks may have an open exhaust.

  5. Only cast iron blocks allowed.

  6. Gasoline and racing gasoline only. No nitro allowed.

  7. Trucks must pull from a Class E or drawbar hitch. Hitch must be sage; no pulling from bumper. Hitch length to be a minimum of 36% of wheel base from center of rear axle to point of hook.

  8. Trucks must have 4 wheel working brakes.

  9. Any DOT tire approved.

  10. No solid suspension. Trucks must be a workable suspension. Traction bars are allowed.

  11. No plow frames.

  12. Wheel base not to exceed 133 inches.

  13. All trucks with standard transmissions must have a steel bell housing or must be equipped with a 3 strap transmission blanket on the bell housing.

  14. All trucks with automatic transmission will have a transmission blanket of SFI approved 360 shields extending from the bell housing to tail shaft. 1 seven strap or 2 three strap blankets are allowed.

  15. Three drive shaft hoops are mandatory over each shaft, 3/8 aluminum or 5/16 steel by ¾ inch wide. 1 strap each drive must be within 6 inches of every u-joint with maximum 10 inches.

  16. Axle hub guards must be a minimum of 3/16 aluminum or 1/16 inch steel and must cover 2/3 of the hub end.

  17. All trucks must have operational kill switch and will be tested before pull.

  18. All kill switches must be mounted independently of drawbar, cable and must have a loop to attach to sled cable and must be located in the rear center of the truck, run minimum of 14” above hitch and a maximum of 6” off center in either direction.

  19. Trucks can have a weight bar not to exceed 60 inches from center of front axle of weight rack. Weights must be secured.

DIESEL:
STOCK 8,500 lbs.

  1. Truck must be street legal with registration papers, affixed license plate and valid inspection.  Registration and license must match and will be compared.

  2. No aluminum engine blocks are permitted unless O.E.M.   Engine must be stock.  Pump diesel fuel is the only fuel permitted.  Headers are approved.

  3. Weights on the front of the vehicle must be securely fastened to the truck and must not exceed more than 60 inches from the center line of the front wheel.

  4. No water to air coolers.

  5. No hanging weight.

 

DIESEL:
2.5 8,500lbs & 2.6 8,000 lbs.

  1. Modified diesel trucks where any type of computer chip is acceptable.

  2. Dual tires allowed

Altered Work Stock Class 4x4:
7,200 lbs.  

This class is for grey area trucks-under built for the “Enhanced Gas class” but overbuilt for the regular “Work Stock Gas Class”

  1. Body-body must be a complete OEM truck body  Must have a complete factory truck bed with metal floor& bed sides. Cab must a complete interior including a factory seat. Front fenders may be trimmed for tire clearance, but must have factory inner fender wells .Must have a hood & the hood must remain latched.

  2. Ballast-is permitted. Hanging front weight is prohibited. Ballast may be added in the bed of the truck only .no Hidden weight or ballast in the cab.

  3. Batteries-must be securely mounted in factory location. No additional batteries may be added.

  4. Brakes-Factory 4 wheel brakes are mandatory.

  5. Chassis-OEM ½.3/4, or 1 Ton Frame is mandatory. Full length of factory frame is required. Back half conversions or tube chassis are prohibited. Engine must be mounted in factory location on the frame.

  6. Driveline-OEM transmission & transfer case & OEM Front & rear axles are required. All driveline components must be from a 1 ton or smaller Pick up

  7. Engine-must be naturally aspirated. Factory type exhaust manifold only. Factory cast iron cylinder heads.

  8. Carburetors-No Dominator or flange. Base of carburetor is limited to 4150 size

  9. Exhaust-Factory type cast iron exhaust manifolds  are required. No headers at all. Mufflers are mandatory & exhaust must extend behind the cab

  10. Fuel System-Factory  fuel tank required. No fuel cells. All fuels are permitted. Electric fuel pumps that are not connected to the key switch must have a kill switch clearly marked.

  11. Suspension-Front & rear suspension must have at least 1” of travel. No air bags or traction bars.

  12. Wheels & Tires-no cut, altered, studded or tire chains. DOT rated wheels & tire only. 

  13. Hitch-OEM style, manufactured built class 3 hitches only. No altered hitch angles. No draw bars. No custom built hitches. Fixed horizontal clevises only-with a minimum hole size of 3.5”x3.57”.Maximum height of hitch shall be 26” to the top of the hook point.  Hook point must extend past the furthest point if the body
