Meat Goat Show follows Sheep Show on Thursday, August 15th.
Youth and Open show will be on Saturday, August 17th at 10 a.m.

Division 1 - Youth

Division 2 - Open

PREMIUMS: 1st - $12.00, 2nd - $8.00, 3rd - $5.00, 4th - $3.00

Division 2 entry fee - $3.00/class - due at the time of entry.

SUPREME CHAMPION will receive a $100 Gift Certificate for CLINTON TRACTOR.

ALL youth are required to participate in showmanship.

General Entry Rules and Regulations

  1. All goats MUST be checked in by the vet prior to unloading.

  2. All goats must follow rules for health and ID requirements in front of fair book.

  3. Market animals may NOT be shown in breed classes and vice versa.

  4. Goats with horns accepted at the discretion of the superintendent.

  5. NO intact bucks over 3 months of age.

  6. Supreme Champion Meat goat of the Youth and Open shows will compete for Best overall Market Animal.

Showmanship - age as of January 1st

​     400 - Novice: Those showing for the first year with any species)
     401 - Pee Wee (7 years & under)

     402 - Junior (8 - 11 years)

     403 - Intermediate (12 - 16 years)

     404 - Senior(16 - 18 years)Class

     405 - Over the HiII (19+ years)

Beast Bread & Owned -- 532 - Only one entry per exhibitor

 

Market Meat Goat:

Class 533: - Under 50 lbs.

Class 534: 50-100 lbs.

Class 535: Over 100 lbs.

Class 536: Market pen of 2
Market goats will be weight taped to determine proper size.
