Scholarships

 

 

The Herkimer County Fair Association is offering a scholarship to any High School Senior that has exhibited or participated in any department at the Herkimer County Fair or has been a contributing participant of the HCF.

The list of departments is very easy to access on our website. Click on the Departments tab to view all.

There will be four $250.00 and two $500.00 scholarships awarded.

All completed applications are due by May 1st, of current year and can be mailed or dropped off at the Herkimer County Fair office.

The NYSAAF and NYSSA offer an annual scholarship program which is available to students who are New York State residents who currently are (or have previously been) active in a fair that is a member of the NYSAAF or the NYSSA and who plan to attend (or already attend) college in pursuit of a degree. The fair where you have been active, or the NYSSA must endorse your application and will submit it for you. The website https://www.nyfairs.org/ offers a complete list of member fairs, the scholarship application, and instructions.

*Any applicant applying for the NYSAAF and NYSSA scholarship will be automatically considered for the

HCF scholarship*
