will be accepted within the following rules:
- Application may be
requested by mail, or printed
HERE. -- all applications due by August 15th. Number of acts
will be limited
- Each act must not exceed five (5) minutes Any act
over 5 minutes will result in disqualification , also once the performance
begins, you may not start over.
- A contestant can only perform once in a division
-see divisions below. A contestant is limited to two divisions. The rules
for the County fair Talent Show differ from the State Fair Rules in regards
to the number of acts a contestant can perform.
- Your Recorded song must be the only song on cassette
or CD and must be clearly labeled with name and song title
- Contestants using recorded music must deliver the
cassette or CD by August 14th order to test compatibility.
- A Singing contestant's CD or cassette must only
include music (No Vocals)
- Professional conduct is expected from each and every
performer, participant, parent, and teacher. Misconduct may result in
forfeiture of prizes.
- Remember this a County Fair Competition -an act that
is considered inappropriate in music lyric or dance will be disqualified
- Contestants and parents are not allowed near the
judging or sound table during the show -and all dance or vocal coaches must
remain behind the sound/judge table.
- Prize Checks w ill be mailed whose name appears on
the application and must be cashed in 30 day
- This talent show competition is the official
preliminary- to the State Fair Talent Showcase. To be eligible to compete in
the state fair, contestants must have placed within the top 25 in either the
mini or maxi division Certain acts permitted at this county fair must not be
allowed at State Fair.
- Contestants are judged on talent, personality, and dress appropriate for
act.
- If a contestant sings, they will be judged for singing ability.
AGE Divisions as follows:
Maxi showcase - contestants must
be age 13 & over
Mini Showcase - contestants must be age 12 & under
The 50% rule will apply if in a duo. If one
contestant is 12 & the other 13, they will compete in maxi.

- Division 1 Mini Dance Solo
- Division 2 Maxi Dance Solo
- Division 3 Dance Group (2 or more any age)
- Division 4 Mini Vocal Solo
- Division 5 Maxi Vocal Solo
- Division 6 Vocal Group (any age)
- Division 7 Instrumental (any age or number)
- Division 8 Other (Non-Instrumental, Non-Vocal, or Non-Dance)
