QUEEN, PRINCESS & PRINCE PAGENTS

All entries are to be sent to: HERKIMER COUNTY FAIR ASSOCIATION, INC, P.O. BOX 47, FRANKFORT, NY 13340.

Because the Queens are a very important part of our fair, the girls will be very busy for the entire week of the fair, both daytime and evenings, as well as for off-season events. Awarding trophies, ribbons and doing interviews will keep the girls in the public eye. If at anytime during her reign she is not a good representative for the fair, it will result in forfeiture title, including crown and sash. The first runner-up will then complete the year's activities.

 

GENERAL GUIDELINES

  1. All score sheets are the property of the Herkimer County Fair Association, Inc. and will not be given out or discussed
  2. The contestants are responsible for the actions of their parents/guardians and will not interfere with the judging before, during, or after the pageants
  3.  Age will be as of August 14th, 2012
  4. No previous 1st place winners allowed within the same category
  5. Must be willing to participate in various parades representing the fair -can only wear one crown- the fairs. Crown must be a priority in the various parades
  6. Checks will be mailed after the Fair and must be CASHED WITHIN 30 DAYS
  7. Due to the age differences -the superintendent may change the division of any contestant.

 

GENERAL RULES: JUDGING WILL BE BASED ON FOR ALL DIVISIONS

  1. Be a resident of Herkimer County or Surrounding Counties
  2. Poise
  3. Personality
  4. General Apperance

 

PRINCESS / PRINCE PAGENT

AWARD
PRINCESS / PRINCE --- $40.00 and Trophy
First Runner Up          --- $20.00 and Trophy
Second Runner Up    --- $15.00 and Trophy
Third Runner Up         --- Trophy

  1. Princess Must be at least 10 years old and not to exceed 12 years of age
  2. Princess wear a semi-formal dress
  3. Prince must be at least 8 years old and not to exceed 12 years of age
  4. Prince wear suit or vest with slacks
  5. One parent or guardian must be with contestant at all times (except while on stage)

QUEEN PAGENT

AWARD
QUEEN                     --- $75.00 and Trophy
First Runner Up        --- $50.00 and Trophy
Second Runner Up  --- $25.00 and Trophy
Third Runner Up       --- Trophy

  1. Be at least 13 years old and not to exceed 17 years of age
  2. Wear a formal / semi-formal dress
  3. Write a short essay - Judges expression
